Leather and wood handbag for my mother’s 27th birthday ?. This one has a story: the wood is red gum, and comes from my mother’s house stumps, which she renovated a few years back. Being an old country house the wood looked old and worn on the surface, but underneath the first few millimetres was revealed the most beautiful grain and rich colours.
