Yes, we have finally caught it, gotten incredibly sick from it, isolated for effectively the entirety of the year so far and we are now recovering from the after effects. It would almost be a relief if (a) it wasn’t so goddamn awful; and (b) we weren’t so very worried about transmitting it beyond our house.
I haven’t even allowed my 17 year old son to come home from his friends’ house, and as such he has been effectively couch-surfing for three weeks to avoid getting sick.
